ABOUT ME

Hello! My name's Gabrielle but most people call me Gabby. I'm a unicorn. No seriously. I'm also such a sagittarius! I'm super friendly and slightly ridiculous (I like to think in a good way) I'm the kind of person who talks to strangers and makes friends.. in bars, or the laundromat.. or taco bell... wherever really. My ex boyfriend of 2 years and I recently broke up (4 months ago) and have a lease signed together until the end of October. We've tried to be mature and coexist civilly together but it's just too much. I am being kicked out this week and have no place to go right now. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to not only get back on my feet but meet some cool people on the way. I look forward to meeting some of you!

PHILOSOPHY

Shit Happens. My life is a book and I'm filling it's pages. The last thing I want is my story to end up an empty journal. “I really just want to be warm yellow light that pours over everyone I love.” I climb trees in dresses because I can. I like almost everything and anyone except finding peanut butter in the jelly jar. Ask me anything. I'm an open book.

Because of my situation right now I can only surf couches but once I have my place on my own I would love to host people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done this before but I am excited. I will definitely share kooky stories here as they happen! Host me and I will draw you things to hang on your walls! :)

I listen to everything. Literally everything ranging from Opera to Electronica to rap to Metal. Everything that is except country music. Rock country and Pop country are acceptable.. its that country country twang i just do not understand. I love Stephen King and Francesca Lia Block Novels. Anything scary, mysterious or beautiful. Give me a recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got back from spending one month in Israel. It opened my eyes to a lot of things and I definitely came back a different person. Traveling is very important to me. I have not done it nearly enough but the times I have traveled are near and dear to my heart. I've been to Japan, Toronto/Niagra Falls, The Bahamas and Israel. Much more places to come in the near future I hope. I really want to go to South America (specifically somewhere along the amazon) India, Egypt, Australia and Turkey.... and basically everywhere else. Also one time I found someones dog, cared for it for a week until I found out who the owner was and returned him. It was a happy happy day. His name was Jammer and he was a wonderful mutt :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I draw and paint so if anyone is interested in that we could have an arts and crafts night for sure! Also I do makeup so ladies (and drag queens) I'd love to beat your face ;) I really love astrology and tarot cards and I have a deck. I'd be down to play with those too! If you have a pet I will be so excited and will probably snuggle them until they are half way to being squished. Things I'd like to learn? Fun facts about you! Also I'm currently trying to learn Arabic... so if anyone could help with that it would be fucking sweet. Other than that I love learning random information. I'm down for anything really.
