I am now in Japan for a student exchange program until August 2014, so I am planning to explore Japan by Couchsurfing! :D

ABOUT ME

I love to learn world cultures, foreign languages, meet new people, earn new experiences. I love to make lists to start things. I don't really like to hang out in big groups. An introvert who is shy at first but tend to get along pretty well with new people. I don't go to clubs. I love nature and culture sightseeing better. I don't smoke. I don't drink a lot. I love movies, esp Studio Ghibli's and movies about slice of life (not really into action movies). I love good books, movies, jazz, bossas music and interesting places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on the top of Mt. Bromo, Rafting on Progo River, Floating Market in Banjarmasin, Dipped into a Japanese onsen (not a traditional one, though), Hiked to some mountains in Java, Traveled around with a famous actor (lol, but it's true), go to Japan all by myself, had an adventure on a Landy in Sumba, Amazing sunrise at Batutumonga (Toraja, Indonesia), celebrated death ceremony in Tana Toraja (Indonesia), contributed in a traveling youtube video series.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to teach/share: thoughts on Psychology, Indonesian culture, Chinese-Indonesian culture, Indonesian cooking, Indonesian movies, etc. I have some skill in English, a little Japanese, Javanese language, oil painting, piano.

Want to learn: Portuguese language! (so I can sing the bossas well), South American culture, Japanese language, Japanese culture, Deutsch / Holland / French language and culture, movie making, writing, making pies, others' philosophies, etc.
