When I'm not working with students at a local university, I'm enjoying the outdoors. I regularly rock climb, both indoor and outdoor. I also enjoy being near open water.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost any genre of the music, but mostly singer/songwriters, acoustic, indie/folk, reggae, ska, jazz, etc.
I thoroughly enjoy reading, mostly historical fiction, fantasy, and period pieces.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled abroad on a ship that was both my home and my place of learning. I met some amazing people who have become great friends and lifelong neighbors.

I can share the knowledge I've acquired over the years of being involved in many different experiences from different jobs, places I've lived, people I've met, things I've done. I can share my love and appreciation for the outdoors. I would like to become better at speaking and understanding other languages such as Portuguese and Spanish.
