J'ai terminé mes études supérieures en journalisme au printemps dernier et complété un stage à Radio-Canada cet automne. Je viens d'être accepté pour un stage au Parlement de la communauté française de Belgique pour une durée de 4 mois et j'arrive donc à Bruxelles au début janvier 2016!

I finished my graduate studies in journalism last spring and completed an internship at the Canadian Broadcasting Network this fall. I was just accepted for an internship at the Parliament of the French Community of Belgium for 4 months so I will be arriving in Bruxelles at the beginning of January 2016!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Je vais arriver à Bruxelles dans le but de me trouver un appartement pour la durée de mon stage, mais en attendant, j'aimerais beaucoup utiliser couchsurfing pour loger les premiers jours de mon arrivée, mais aussi pour rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et commencer à découvrir la ville!

I will arrive in Brussels looking for a room in an apartment for the duration of my internship, but in the meantime, I would like to find a place to stay for a couple days upon my arrival through couchsurfing. That way I could meet people and discover a bit the city!

It's tough to narrow down a list!

Music: Ray Charles (huge fan), Otis Redding, James Brown, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Black Keys, Prodigy, Buena Vista Social club, Notorious BIG, so basically soul, swing, funk, alternative rock, old school hip hop, drum and bass!!, electro (in its multiple forms), etc!

Movies: Directors I really like would be Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Gus Van Sant, a couple Dan Boyle movies, Coen Brothers, Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Wes Anderson and movies by title, well, Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption, White Ribbon, Jurassic Park, the Godfather I and II, Goodbye Lenin, La vie d'Adèle, Inside Man, La vita è bella and probably many more, I am a big movie fan!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went with two friends on a midnight swim in the south of Turkey, on a deserted beach once. There weren't any lights so it was very dark. When we moved around in the water the plankton lit up and that created balls of light underwater with each of our movements! Probably one of the most beautiful and amazing things I've seen.
