Overview
About Me
I am a very enthusiastic person, and I also talk about everything, from politics to trees. I first used couchsurfingduring my exchange, when I lived in Dublin. I'm back to Brazil (Belo Horizonte, precisely), and I'm ready to show you how amazingly continental Brazil is!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a very interesting way of knowing *better* different places and cultures by the lens of people who live their daily life there. Obviously, it is a good way of saving money with accomodation, saving some money to enjoy your time in the city and possibly with your host (hehe).
Interests
I rather eat different and local food when I'm travelling.
I like to photograph landscapes through the train, bus windows or hiking.
And finally, I'm addicted to urbanization, and I have a particular interest on rivers.
I'm totally into LGBT movement as well, and I won't refuse a good night out dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love brazilian popular music (Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Belchior..), soul disco jazz (Donna Summer, Amy Winehouse, Janelle Monáe...) Not to mention, I was Little Monster once, and parts of me enjoy techno too.
Almost Famous, This Must Be The Place, Goodbye Lenin, Motorcycle Diaries, The Dreamers, Hair, Que Horas Ela Volta.
Poemas de Carlos Drummond de Andrade, García Lorca. Ana Terra mexeu com minha cabeça. Interview with the Vampire também.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked my first time in Italy this year, with only return tickets. The rest I was able to unfold in 14 days with a little help of fellows and mates of all the ages and parts of the world that I encountered.
I had an excellent meal in Venice with my Panamanian friend and we met a 60y couple in a restaurant in Venice. With their email adress written in a napkin I got in touch with them for some months, and I crossed France and visited them in Perpignan. Very genuine experience.
Smoking haxixe with a berber under a stary night in the desert of Morocco .
Striking estonian sauna treatment.
Reaching the summit of the highest mountain of Brazil (Caparaó) on a full moon night with some dear friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts
We can prepare fantastic meals together! Go to a nice "boteco" and drink some beer in the city centre. We can ride bicycle from my house to Pampulha's Lake, where I'll tell you every little detail about the newest brazilian Unesco Heritage site! With some extra days, we might share a trip to some nice mountains, natural parks and waterfalls from 1 to 3 hours away from BH (Serra do Cipó, Ouro Preto & Mariana, Espinhaço Mountain Range , ...)
