About Me
Travelling across Ethiopia in June!
I did a degree in philosophy (no regrets) and then went travelling. Once I came back, fully converted to the travelling hippy lifestyle, I started work in a consulting company - culture shock! It's pretty full time but at least I can get away for a few weeks of the year. I've been very lucky to be able to travel all over the world as a backpacker, and love to learn about the different cultures and local traditions in all the places I visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to meet interesting people and discover your area from someone who knows. As a solo backpacker, it's a lot easier to meet new people and get to know a whole different side of a country.
My Lonely Planet guidebook will only take me so far, and I'm looking forward to hearing your stories and seeing your country from your perspective.
Unfortunately I can't host as I'm currently living with my parents (house prices in London, long story!) - give it a couple of years though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Great Baikal Trail in Outer Siberia, with a few guys I'd met in the hostel the night before.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best thing about meeting people when travelling is to learn about what connects us and what divides us culturally.
