About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play, play or we're lost!

ABOUT ME

Just arrived in Buenos Aires in order to sit and write down all the Tango that's buzzing in my mind.

That's basically all there's to tell right now.

Everything else is past, and the future is yet to be written.

PHILOSOPHY

If you don't play the music that's in your head it will rot there. Rotten music stinks terribly...!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing. As much as I can. Hardly hosting due to too much surfing...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I came to Rotterdam my first experience was a super nice month with a CS host. Since then I've been to countless meetings and almost every concert/cafe/event in my house there's someone who found me via CS. Hopefully next summer I'll have sooo much more to write here... :)

Interests

Tango. And Tango. (and other stuff: photography and community life and raising kids and calligraphy amongst others.) and Tango!

  • singing
  • photography

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes!!! Romantic Comedies [yes, I'm straight... why?]. And Tango, obviously. And Kusturica films. And any music that makes you feel the person that plays it. List is way too long, but if you ask me in person, you will have to violently stop me from enthusiastically trying to make you listen to "just this one more youtube! It's really amazing what these guys do there!!!"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My daughter falling asleep on me for the first time. I was singing the Diggers Song from the a capella Chumbawamba album "English Rebel Songs" together with the CD. One of the moments I'll think of in my final hour. I'm sure :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning more from teaching violin than from my violin teacher. And that's not because I learn too little from him. On the contrary!

And I'm curious what life after studies will bring in terms of other possibilities to learn.
