I have an old house opposite the Clarence River in Maclean, northern NSW, Australia. The house was raised off the ground in 1950's to protect it from occasional flooding. In the vast space beneath the house is a viable living area for a matter of, say, 3 to 4 days ... a bedroom, living area, kitchen, shower and toilet ... It is separate and independent from where I live on the upper level. The bedroom has a single bed ... but I do have a roll-away bed that can be made up for a travelling companion. The accommodation is very rustic be also very safe and clean.

There is parking on the road directly outside the house and an extremely good bus service that passes the door. The house is in the middle of town and shops, restaurants, pubs within easy walking distance. The beaches a bus ride away ... Yamba 20 mins away ... Byron Bay an hour or so by car.

What I am hoping is that any couch surfers I host will give me a little of their time to achieve what I need help with. If what I'm asking isn't convenient to you, well ... you can always move on to the next host!!
