Hi :) I am Gabriela, I come from Ecuador, two years ago I moved to Germany to continue studying something related with my career. I am physiotherapist and currently I am working in a Physiotherapy center where I am extremely happy. I want to specialize me further in the area of Neurotherapy for kids, actually that’s one of the mainly reasons why I chose these beautiful profession. Another of my passions is painting and I have attend some paint courses where I learnt new techniques and methods. I love art and it has been my hobby since I was a kid. And of course I love traveling and getting to know this beautiful world and the amazing people that is all around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, one of the best things of traveling, is the possibility to learn about the people and the culture from there. During my travels I had the chance to experiment that, I have found people that wanted to show me their country with the same love I would show my lovely country, these people have become my friends and honestly traveling alone as a girl, the only thing you want sometimes, being so far away from home, is someone you can rely on and call a friend :)

I love Romans, thriller films are my favorites and I consider myself a person who really can hear every kind of music but hip hop :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in a part-time Job, I worked as a teacher in a kindergarten, and everyday I was there teaching little babies some cute songs and dancing with them! That was a lifetime experience because I really think that those little kids thought me things that I have complete forgot. Every day for 6 months I went there to teach them but at the end of the day, I was the one who learned ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied Physical therapy in Ecuador and I got my degree there and now I am developing my career in the field the Neuropediatrie. I studied English for some years during college and also took some art lessons. I studied German for 2 years and a half and four years ago I tried to lear mandarin but I was not good at it and I didn’t continue.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook! I know a lot of dishes from Ecuador and Germany, I would love to share that and of course learn about the way you cook too.
As a physiotherapist I can help you with some advices against the typical symptoms of stress (I know we all suffer with that) or any kind of physical disease you could have.
I would love to share more of my culture and learn about yours. If you are planning to visit Ecuador I would love to recommend you some places und let you now more about my country.
If you are learning German I could give you some tips that helped me in the journey of learning it. And if you learn English or Spanish at the moment, I could also contribute with some advices.
I love to dance tropical music; salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata. I consider myself a good teacher and I am totally in if you want to practice them or learn a bit :)!
