About Me

We are an Argentine couple. I'm Gabriela (31, Radiologist Technician) Eduardo (29, Bartender) Now our careers and studies are paused, because we decided to stop the wheel and go out to travel and get to know the world. In the European summer of 2018, we started a trip for a month visiting the typical cities in a eurotrip. And those vacations changed our lives we noticed that we wanted to stay and enjoy longer. We saw that a different way of life was possible in another parallel dimension to the one we knew. We are soul travellers. We enjoy by knowing the local people and experience their culture, sharing with them. We think that travelling is best way to connect ourselves and with others. To enjoy the landscapes and nature and also to learn history, to understand how the people and the places are now in foundation with their past. We love to be touched by the places we met and collect pictures and moments in our memories forever. And through the years we noticed that we used to live just for the work, Gym, University and then sleep and repeat over and over again. We both lived the same. We have been traveling just on vacations the past years and realized that we needed more than just 14 days to really not get stressed or really anxious to go in the next trip. And also to real meet the places that we visit, we have to travel slowly, stay longer. So we started to make some research and that is how we found the Working holiday Visa Agreements. We begin to dream of long and slow journey, to break the chains of normality, routines and social mandates. It was no longer enough with the usual 14 days of vacation. We wanted more. When we returned to Buenos Aires, we were never the same again. So in just 4 months we decided to move to Europe. We quit our years jobs, we say goodbye to our families and friends to make our dreams come true. Now we live in Aarhus, Denmark. We are legally here with a working holiday visa. Working to finance our stay and willing to continue travelling. And we are still dreaming of knowing the beauties and landscapes of the world that are missing in our bucket list and move on to other destinations.
We are friendly and respectful people.
We both Love:
• To Travel.
• Listening music (particularly Electronic Music fans)
• Crafts beers.
• Craft beers' Bar seekers
• Red wine lovers (as every Argentinian, we think)
• We like long walking’s and also relaxing times.
• Singing and Dancing (Gaby)
• Football fan (Edu)
So if you are in the other side reading our story i can assure you can trust us, if you want to find out more, we want to know and learn from you too.
We expect to hear from you soon. Best Regards.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are joining to this community because we want to change our old way of travelling.
We used to travel by ourselves or with friends. We had excellent vacations and memories.
But now we want to experience to really meet people, people from all over the world and open our minds. To learn about different cultures and make friends above of all.
Other reason:
Gaby: I am fluent in English. I am not bilingual but i can mantain a full chat. But Edu, he learnt the basics at school but he doesn´t speak English well. For him is so hard. Of course he is learning. But still, we want to encourage him to have more conversations and improve his level.
