I'm a design student currently living in Mannheim after many crazy life travels. The bigger ones include my time in Tokyo/Japan and Birmingham/UK.

Currently I am working on my art documentary project which is about German people in Japan and Japanese people in Germany. I'm in Japan travelling right now to find people to work with me on it. Otherwise I don't seem very serious at first - that's because I want to enjoy the moment and be happy! The best is when I am with other people, I'm not really a loner.

I wouldn't survive in a math course and I am indifferent to being a standard tourist. I think everyone needs to find their way to explore a place.

I love café's, bookshops, botanical gardens, mountains, flea markets, museums and dancing. Most of all I love human rights.

I like the German word "Fernweh" (wanderlust). It describes a feeling I have almost everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is amazing! Without this site I would never have met so many fabulous people, including the ones I met in regular CS meetings. While I stayed in Birmingham this site helped me a lot to maintain a social life there - it's always hard to go to a new city but the friendlyness of a stranger is something you can comeby every so often. I wish to give this back in some way.

Interests

graphic, web, architecture, interior - everything in the world is designed. The most interesting design though is nature so i might just stop by the roadside just to appreciate a stone.

"When you get dressed everyday think of it as an art project."

traditional, photography, experimental, installations - i like going to museums, private shows, underground stuff or sipping a well made cuppa.

My favourite actor is Robin Williams (RIP). I almost like all the movies he starred in. Otherwise I really like to watch good movies or have recommendations from others. Currently I really like "Young@Heart"

I enjoy music from 80's, 90's, classic, city pop, classic, indie and electro. My current fave radio station is http://reverberationradio.com/

Books? Eh, well I like design books, art books, photo books, comics ... I barely read "real" literature but sometimes I stumble upon an interesting piece or two.
