ABOUT ME

I'm a human rights lawyer. My goal is to focus on protecting and promoting human rights so that everyone can live with dignity. (Talk about a lofty intro!)

I like to talk. I'll ask 1000 questions if given the chance. I like to learn about people and their cultures. We all live on the same planet but experience radically different worlds. If this sounds all too heavy, don't worry, I like to go out and live too.

The concept of Couchsurfing is amazing. The idea that people open up their homes and lives to each other is beautiful. How can someone not want to be involved? I've used Couchsurfing to connect with people from Eruope, the Caucasus to Vietnam, enriching my travels and I hope enriching their lives too.

I've sued a country for being involved in kidnapping and torture of innocents. Professionally, it'll be hard to top that.

On a personal level, the most amazing thing I've done is go from a social skill-less elitist nerd to a happy, warm, charming (i hope), and deep individual.

You are made of atoms. Atoms are mostly made of empty space. So are you mostly empty space? No! The space is not actually empty. In every bit of space there is some level of energy. From this energy, millions of virtual particles spawn and die in every fraction of a second. And while these are called "virtual" particles, they are very much real. So, no matter how "empty" something seems, it is very much "full".
