About Me

CURRENT MISSION

More harmony in myself and in the world around me

ABOUT ME

I'm someone very curious about things of the past mostly as present times are sometimes eluding me. I can be very optimistic or pessimistic depending on what I have in mind. I have lots of hope and also lots of fear about this world and age we're living in. I love to meet interesting people but also to be on my own. I love to be surrounded by books, records and musical instruments. I love children (the two I have above all) and old people. I love nature and beautiful old cities, good organic and vegan food, pastas of all kind and middle-eastern dishes. Things I hate are too numerous to tell... To sum it up I'm very nostalgic of days gone by and a simpler life. i'm in a quest for more harmony in myself and in the world around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy but take it

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: American Folk Music, anything Old-Timey , Country Bluesy, Hot Jazzy, or great ethnic music from around the world.
Movies: I have been a "cinephile" for years, enjoying great movies of the past from John Ford, Charles Chaplin, Mizoguchi, Jean Renoir to "La Nouvelle Vague" but I also enjoy any movie that have a good story and good characters in it.
Books: Once again the great ones: Balzac, Proust, Dostojevski, Stevenson but also any good book I can find.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of my first child

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you about many forgotten musicians or styles of music. I can tell you about the many paradoxes of being jewish. I can teach you a bit of french or hebrew or maybe how to play the banjo or ukulele...
