About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an enthusiastic, curious and open-hearted person. The way I see life has progressed over time and now I could live by the quote "life is now" and "be the change you wish to see in the world".
I'm interested in a wide range of things that I can't tell them all. But for sure I have a passion for listening to people's stories and photography. I love wild natural spaces... that's probably one the reason I did lots of hikes and wild camping.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, more than the place I visit, it's the people I met who make my time! That's why I will be only Couchsurfing when I have a genuine interest in meeting the person I contact. However I can be very last minute in this kind of stuff, but I try to find a balance between spontaneity and too much planning.
Interests
I am interested into alternative and sustainable way of life / lifestyle. This had led me to explore a wide range of other connected topics from understanding life to psychology or spirituality-related topics.
On a more done to earth note, I enjoy casual activities like cooking, especially when it's for sharing ! But wait.. I can be creative in this thing ;) When I travel I also enjoy trying out local food, so I guess I could probably say I'm a foodie!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am rather open to various music genre. It can range from classical, celtic to alternative. It rather depends on the mood I guess. I am always keen to discover new gems, and willing to share my own discoveries..
Regarding movies, the last ones that I enjoyed a lot were: En Quête De Sens, and various documentaries
I'm a slow reader and I like that.. because it's like eating a delicacy! Last books that had an impact on me : Ta Deuxième Vie Commence Quand Tu Comprends Que Tu n'en a qu'Une, Le Monde a-t-il Un Sens, Le pouvoir de L'instant présent.
I also listen to quite a few podcasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
~ in winter 2015 I have joined a bus trip to Lapland, above the Arctic Circle. Despite a car-reindeer-bus accident that almost condemned our trip, we make it to the Artic Ocean. There I experience doing something that can sounds more crazy than it actually is: I did a sauna and run straight away to the frozen sea water. Words are useless to express how you feel afterwards.. and I did it three times!
~ in fall 2016, after my graduation, I did a roadtrip in Iceland and Canada. It was my very first time wild camping and I was by myself. I walked through splendid boreal forests, hiked to the top of mountains and I did as many amazing as unexpected meetings with locals and travelers.
~ in 2017's I quit my job and experienced volunteering abroad. It had been a super valuable experience that made me grow as a person. I also ended up completing the popular but impressive half-dome hike in Yosemite National Park, pushing again my limits.
~ in summer 2018 I decided to achieve one of my biggest dream: to cross Europe West to East by bike! I arrived in Belgrade, Serbia, some 75 days later after having paid a visit to a couple of friends on the way.
~ I've crossed over 26 boundaries 🇪🇸🇸🇪🇩🇰🇫🇮🇳🇴🇮🇹🇽🇸🇲🇨🇹🇩🇵🇹🇦🇽🇨🇦🇭🇷🇧🇦🇺🇸🇲🇽🇹🇭🇲🇲🇩🇪🇨🇿🇦🇹🇸🇰🇭🇺🇷🇸🇲🇦
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is all about sharing. As a host or as a guest, I will always share my TIME, because it's the only thing that matters in the present moment.
I especially enjoy to share and to listen to people's STORIES, or some funny or scary travel anecdotes.
I'm not afraid about deep TALKS, because I learnt so much that way, questioning my limiting beliefs and what I hold for granted.
And of course, all of that can be accompanied with a cold or warm drink, depending of the mood ;)
Language and culture exchanges are also always interesting topics, especially in the context of traveling to a completely new country without any prior knowledge.
I am fluent in English and French, but I always try to learn a few words and phrases of each countries I have the chance to visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live now in the city of Nantes, which I know quite well now. I am eager to take you on a bike or walk tour, having an "apero" on the Loire banks and that sort of things :)
