About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to satify my wanderlust in my youth, by both travelling and meeting folks from away!
ABOUT ME
I have been campaigning for progressive issue across the country for about 4 years now. I got started on the Maine Marriage Equality Campaign in 2012, and have since worked with efforts in Rhode Island and Oregon. I am vegetarian, but am not pushy, and am fine with others eating meat. I love to travel, love meeting new people, and am constantly seeking adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, I'm in Manchester, NH, organizing for a progressive political candidate. I am only in NH until Feb. 9th, and am looking for any and all supporter housing situations, for me and other team members. I am about as left as they come, and would definitely prefer to stay with like-minded individuals. I am working 12-14 hour days, so I don't need much at all; a couch to crash on would be ideal. I love to drink decent local beer, but definitely respect anyone's personal feelings against it.
Interests
I have brewed beer in the past, but I'm leaving all of my supplies in Portland. I love being involved in progressive politics, especially LGBTQ issues and electoral reform. I'm always eager to see a new bar or eat at a new restaurant! Campaigning has given me such a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people from all across the country and beyond, and I am looking to continue that trend!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I've been getting into a hip hop phase lately: Childish Gambino, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lemar, Kid Cudi. I also love alternative rock: Muse, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Franz Ferdinand, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down.
Movies - I'm starting to really get into the horror genre, especially psych horror: It Follows, The Babadook, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Bellflower. I'm always down for a good apocalyptic flick: 28 Days Later, Andromeda Strain, A Boy and His Dog, Mad Max, 12 Monkeys
Books - When I have the time to read, I love curling up with anything Vonnegut, Palahniuk or Thompson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Several times now I have left home with no real plans as far as housing, no friends in my destination, but just the drive to get involved with an issue and make a difference.
