Overview
About Me
Hi everyone! I'm Gaëlle, French girl living in Prague for a couple of months, previously in Brussels. Dunno what this says about me, but that's a beginning!
Otherwise I am apparently the kind of super-active person (although I don't think so). But it is true that not having plans or not knowing what I'm gonna do in the next hours is kind of depressing for me. So I always need to know that I'm gonna do something. Always craving for changes, discoveries and new experiences. That being said, I can also stay very quiet and spend hours on some manual works.
In the old CS profile, it was asked to write your philosophy. I always wondered what to put there as I do not stick to any in particular. So I was usually putting "nothing, just always look on the bright side of life!" (because it is true and because it is a great song/movie). And now, I realise that it's actually what I am trying to do! Whatever happens, even if it is not the best time of your life, always look on the bright side of it.
Oh and another important point, I am currently often traveling with my boyfriend (who is Czech) and since the beginning of the year, we added another member to our duo. We also want to keep on traveling with him.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because travelling always takes a different taste when you can experience the country from the inside. Using CS while travelling for sure brought different and always great memories. And when it is not your turn to travel, with CS it is the world which is coming to your living-room!
Interests
Because of work starting to grow a new interest in trash bins! More seriously, I am trying to apply a green touch to my way of living and like to hear about good and green ideas. Check the EWWR (www.ewwr.eu), it's great!
I like discovering new places, sometimes giving myself unnecessary challenges (why taking a plane at normal times when you can take one super early in the morning and not be sure to have a connection to the airport!). But I am not forgetting and will always stay close and advocate for my home, Bretagne, the greatest place in France of course! :p
I like learning words in new languages...that I will of course forget a few hours after! ;) I wish I would have a better memory.
I like cooking also. Not sure if by taste or necessity... but I will always prefer a home-made lunch to some already prepared-ready to eat solution! No matter if it means cooking late in the night after a party (ok maybe for that I would go to bed and buy soemthing afterwards!).
And lately I am kind of trying to garden as we have a small courtyard. I haven't been so successful so far (1 tomato, 6 green beans and 1 raspberry). But let's blame it on the complicated Brussels weather rather than on my skills!

Music, Movies, and Books
Rather eclectic tastes...
It all depends on my mood and the people around me.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share with you the different recipes I have picked up from different people (and will be happy to learn new ones!). Wouldn't go to the point of calling it teach though!
Of course I can also teach some French but I would prefer to try to learn your language rather than teaching mine!
And I definitely want to share smiles and laughters.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope some nice moments, sharing our experiences, our vision of things... It all depends on common interests and feelings!
