Hey, my name's Gaël, I'm 26 years old and I live in Paris!

I work in the Cinema & TV industry as a camera assistant.

I love traveling around the world, taking photographs & spending lots of time in the nature. I also really like to meet new people from everywhere, discovering new cultures and sharing experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is such a good way to meet the locals everywhere you go. It's probably the best thing to discover a new culture, experience the place your visiting & sharing experiences with other people.

Interests

I love creating things... especially images! Still or Motion pictures, I have a huge interest in the lighting and I can spend a whole day taking photographs.

I also do love music a lot. I play the Guitare, the Accordion and I try to remember how to play the Drums & Keyboard.

Above all, I love going on adventure... Getting lost in the nature, meeting people, sharing cultures, seeing incredible sunset, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like folk music, but I also like lots of different style of music. I want to discover more style when traveling.

My favorite book is called : Le tour du monde sans un rond - Matteo Pennacchi / It's all about a guy touring the world without any money. It's very interesting to see how human links and mutual aid can makes us stronger!

I'm a big fan of Wes Anderson's films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The coolest thing I have done was a tour of France in 2012 with a good friend. We were playing music in the streets of every city where we went to. We met lots of incredible people and saw so many pretty landscapes & places! During this trip, I filmed with my camera and made a short video about it.
