Hey! My name is Gaëtan, 23, born and raised in Strasbourg, France.

Freshly arrived on Couchsurfing (I know I know, why so late haha?), but I guess we all have to start sometime somewhere :)

Whether with friends, family, or sometimes alone, I just love travelling around the world and meeting new people!

I definitely don't need a 5 stars hotel, as long as I know that tomorrow is going to be a great day, I'm just delighted to find a place on your little couch or on the floor haha

I'm quite an active guy, loving to visit every side of a new place, from the city biggest museum to the little dark streets where you can find hidden local gems (watch out, food lover over here). I also enjoy doing all types of sports, big fan of hiking, and definitely open to new adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel alone, I really enjoy meeting new people that are embedded in the local life and culture. I'm totally new here, but many friends told me some pretty great stories about their couchsurfing experience, so here I am, wishing to create my own stories and to learn from the people around me. So... when do we start? :)
