ABOUT ME

I am not sure to be good at describing myself, but let's try.
I am outgoing, very open, very sensitive to people. I have been traveling alone for six months around New Zealand, and I am now back to studying. I have experienced some life changing experiences here and there, and I now feel I know myself much better than before. Life for me is about how you look at it, the way you take it up, the people you meet and how much you can bring to them. Every meeting is a new start, a step into the unknown, but it is what makes life so incredible. I like people, I like to meet new ones, every new person is a new opportunity, a chance to give, to learn, to exchange. Communication is at the heart of this world, and it is how you might improve it.

PHILOSOPHY

Always stay open to people and ideas, let your instinct speak, do what you feel is right.
Everybody and every experience is something you can learn from, if you are ready to.
Follow your heart, and it will sing forever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from all around the world. I have been travelling a bit, and what remains when you are back is the people you have met.
Staying at people's places and spending some time with them is the best way to discover a country, and I have been doing that during my last few trips, through WWOOF or friends of friends. Hope to keep going with Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to play cornet, I sang in a choir and I enjoy listening to music (all kinds and a very weird variety of it, depending on my mood, the time of the day, and what my music player randomly decides to play)

Lots of different movies, the classic Lord of the Rings, SF, true stories,... I tend to like movies that speak about the world and the people, and are not just action movies. I especially liked Departures, The King's speech, Pride,... Some movies I recently saw and liked : Lemon Tree, Dancing Arabs, Les garçons et Guillaume à table,...

Quite a few TV-shows : Twin Peaks, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, Sherlock Holmes, Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, The Fosters,...

I love board games too, The Settlers, Eclipse, and so many others !

All and every kind of books, lots of fantasy and SF, true stories,... nowadays always more non-fiction "serious" books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around New Zealand alone for a while ; and some things I have done during this trip, but I will tell you them directly...

Singing the music of the first movie of The Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring) with 200+ other musicians in live with the film displayed !

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe everybody has something to learn and to teach, and I would be glad to do my part. I could probably teach you some language skills (French, German, English for a smaller extent,...)
I always stay open to new knowledge or skills someone could bring me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to share a nice way of being, a good atmosphere, lots of laugh, and a big smile ! I love cooking too and know some good recipes, and I am happy to help you for anything I can.
