About Me

I'm currently studying sustainability governance in Maastricht, the Netherlands. I have a huge interest in the environnemental and natural debate. I play Capoeira and I'm keen on hiking and discover new culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people from other countries. Plus, it's a way to discover things away from the typical tourists locations.
I like a lot the mentality of this website. I am not a consumerist person and I value much more human relationships and sharing than individualism. Nothing interesting can happen in a hotel but wonderful experience can occur when you meet people and discover their perceptions of the world.

Interests

As mentionned earlier I'm involved in the climate change problem and the ecological matter in overall. I'm really into travelling. I lived 5 months in Argentina, 3 months in Canada and 5 in Norway and each of these experiences was incredibly rich. I love being in nature and meet new cultures. I also like a lot to go to concerts and dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of different music styles, like Calle 13, Beirut, Eminem...
My favorite movies are a bit non-original but sill very good movies; fight club, Inglorius Basterds (many of Tarantino's movies in general), the dictator (of Charlie Chaplin),...
I read a lot, in many different styles Ken Follet is one of some good autors I like, I'm a huge child when it comes to Harry Potter and recently I've read Sapiens which really interested me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my trip to Argentina I also went to Bolivia where I had the chance to see the Salar de Uyuni, which was one of the many highlights of my trip there.
I also had amazing time on Lofoten Island in Norway. I had the chance to see the midnight sun, which was an incredible experience (imagine having sun 24h/day, this is really disturbing haha).
I could also see northern lights during the winter.

Teach, Learn, Share

As traveling is one of my favorite things, I'd love to share my experiences with people. I also like debates and sharing perceptions about any topic.
I would love to learn playing music, drawing, cooking local meals, and any cultural aspect of where I am travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be also more than happy to cook veggie food for you, to prepare a Belgian beer tasting or to bring good chocolate, to share my knowledge about sustainability and about some countries I have traveled in.
