About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life's short...dance naked and wiggle your butt!

ABOUT ME

So here I am, and here is my profile (and some of my random babilings). I went to private school...bitch, I come across as shy, I laugh at pretty much everything, I love the mountains AND the beach, I'm a loyal friend, I like desk work (mind you not just sitting there, but actually DOING something!), there's no such thing as a dumb blonde, York peppermint patties are my vice, eating is my hobby, clean freak and a little OCD about organizing *ooo pick me!!*, I live in a rural part of Georgia (though who doesn't?), I think with my head not my heart, I have nicknames for all of my friends, I'm too nice for my own good, I have a horrible memory, I have an embarrasing amount of porcelein horses, my car's name is charlie, my computer's name is Sharona, and did I say I have a bad memory?

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life without any regrets. Everything happens for a reason.

Interests

Of course my most obvious interest is traveling. I also enjoy easy reading, knitting, and am addicted to the number game Sudoku.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Queen is up there at numero uno! Another one of my favs who doesn't really fit in a category is Enya, I could listen to her for hours. Some new additions that I have recently discovered is one an Irish punk rock band called FLOGGING MOLLY! It's rock, it's different I absolutely love it! Then also I found The Postal Service, Imogen Heap, Death Cab for Cutie, Aqualung, Nada Surf...(thanx Crystal!) good study music. Some others that also come to mind are The Killers, Gavin Degraw, Journey's, AC/DC, Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, All American Rejects....Then we have the girls like Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Branch, Alicia Keys...in the next catagory we have The Rat Pack, Louis Armstrong, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis you know all the oldies but goodies. As well as soundtracks to musicals such as Rent, Chicago, Mouliln Rouge, and Wicked. I also like to dabble in music such as Ludacris, G-Unit, Kanye West, BEP...Basicly in a nut shell I like anything old, new, and in between...

Movies, Movies, Movies! I LOVE movies! Though I'm not particularly fond of paying $7 to see a movie once...but I do it anyway! I'm basicly up for anything except for horror. I tried a horror movie once, it was called 'Ghost Ship" and ya'll know what I'm talkin about, def NOT scary, just lots of lame! My particular favorites are Count of Monte Cristo, Seven, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Taking Lives, Crash, Anchorman, Napoleon Dynomite, Without a Paddle, Hostage, Pink Panther Series, A Knight's Tale, Ever After, The NEW Pride and Prejudice movie (which I recommend to every girl! good chic flick), Moulin Rouge, Chicago, LOTR series, Cold Mountain, Ice Age and Finding Nemo (the really funny little kid movies), ah and the list goes on...

Television:
I have only a couple tv shows that I watch religiously, but they are def my favorites! 1) Will and Grace, 2) M*A*S*H, 3) Scrubs, 4) Alias, 5) That 70's Show 6) Prison Break, which is airing another season this coming fall, did they truly escape? No one knows...too bad I won't be able to find out either cuz I'll be half way around the world!

Books:
I also am very fond of reading if I can find a book WORTH reading...but to list all of my fav's on the spot would be difficult so I'll just name a few...the LOTR series (def a challenge, but very worth it), Redwall series (good imagination books), The Chronicles of Narnia, All of Dan Brown's books (The Da Vinci code...in a word SPECTACULAR!), Wicked (which I just bought tickets for the new broadway play based on the book, CAN'T WAIT!), Nancy Drew books but they get kind of redunant after awhile as does Mary Higgins Clark books, though they are a good leisure read none-the-less...
