Straight, white, male, able-bodied, born of first generation immigrants from Haifa (Israel), American, Israeli, writes poetry, performs poetry, teaches workshops in poetry, 5 feet 9 inches, dances (well), sings (in the shower), (over)uses parentheses frequently, sleeps an average of 7 hours a day, reads constantly, etc.

Until I get my own place, I'll be a surfer or coffee or drink guy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just couchsurfed once in chicago and it was great! Also, I've met couchsurfers abroad and they're wonderful people.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I climbed up and down the grand canyon in 2 days.
I co-led a week-long backpacking trip.
I performed poetry in front of crowded theatres, small classrooms, bars, cafés, correctional facilities, you name it.
I substitute taught a highschool creative writing class with curriculum I developed on my own.
I published a book.

I know poetry & its writing/reading/performance. I also know basic grammar for hebrew, spanish, and russian, and have a fairly solid background in psychology and film photography. I also have some wilderness skills, know a little bit of martial arts, and have a broad knowledge of hip-hop dance. Oh and I can play the piano.
