About Me
I’m an Italian girl trying to live my best life: ), I’ve always been pretty curious, I love to learn and talk to people. When for the first time I went for a solo trip I got to know a lot of wonderful travelers in hostels around Italy, my English was awful so I then I decided to improve my English in order to be able to talk to many people. That’s when I found the au pair program and I chose to leave Italy for 1 year. I moved in a new “family” (now an actual second family to me🫶🏻) and discover the U.S. culture.
This is just an anecdotal experience that I think represents me pretty well.
Other than that I’m a really extroverted person, who loves outside activities, sports and nature. I don’t consider myself self-confident but I really like to overcome challenges.
When I’m sad or mad (we’re humans, it happens) playing volleyball or walking on the beach makes me feel instantly better.
I love jokes, which is sad cause I think in English I’m not as funny as in Italian yet, of course I’ll steal any jokes you’ll tell me😁.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel and get to know better the world thanks to people from different cultures. I’m loving CS and the way it makes people to connect, I love to make friends and to know people, their life and good stories, do you have anything you wanna share with me?
Interests
I play volleyball since I was 7, I started then to enjoy every possible sports from swimming to basketball, from archery to martial arts. I’m also a volleyball coach since 2021
I like arts and the subjectivity of feelings they share, I love the nature and the natural light, it gives me energy and good vibes.
When I was younger I was a photographer, I learned a lot and even if I don’t have my camera anymore I like to take good pictures and try to show people the world for how I see it.
Traveling is a huge chance to grow and I love to share my experiences with others , I understand that what I feel and I felt in a specific situation might be different for someone else but that’s when pictures come helping me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like country, rock and indie’s music but I’m really open to new artists. Recently I’ve been listening a lot of Post Malone’s music (Austin and F-1 Trillion), and a lot of country (my favorite song at the moment is Stick Season)
I’m not used to watch movies or tv shows, I’m an outside person but sometimes when I need some relax I like to watch psychological and action movies or shows, i really loved the shows Manifest, Reacher, Chernobyl, Grey’s Anatomy and I’m planning to watch in the future The Act, probably again the Harry Potter series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The only kinda amazing thing I’ve done is leaving my job, family and boyfriend to move to the U.S. to travel and improve my English for more than a year.
But I can tell amazing things I’m gonna do in the future (don’t know yet when tho)
-hiking on a volcano+ northern lights in Iceland
-bringing my boyfriend to Japan
-gifting my parents a relaxing vacation in Canaries Islands
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy to learn, learn about literally anything.
Although I’m really into sports and the way the human body works. I know it’s just a show but I love to watch Grey’s Anatomy.
I really like to see and understand the difference between European and American culture, I noticed and talked a lot about it during my year as an au pair.
I can definitely share and teach the Italian culture and language, some great recipes and some good stories about me, Italy or everything I know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As an Italian should do I can share some of my favorite italian recipes. Most of the recipes are not as hard as they seem.
I’m for sure available for a good conversion with a cup of tea
