Overview
About Me
I'm a California girl through and through! I grew up living the life - surf, skate and sea 24/365, however, something always set me apart from my friends who were(are) content to live and die in California... I'm speaking of my Italian background and frequent visits to Italy and Europe growing up. My father is from Rome, Italy so we would take trips almost every other summer of my life to visit his/our family and I always knew in my heart that one day I would live in Italy. After deep deliberation and personal growth, the time arrived and I finally made the move January 31, 2016. Currently, I am working as an ESL teacher in schools and privately but I have many dreams and ambitions to further challenge myself and bring forth my full potential! I am currently seeking an MSc in Europe in the field of Outdoor Education. As of now, I have no plans to return to the U.S. permanently as I wish to remain in Europe and explore other continents as well.
In my free time I enjoy yoga, museums, reading, gastronomy, movies... I'm a very curious, passionate, social and easy-going person, at the same time I am very confident in who I am and while I have a deep love for people/humanity I am also careful about who I spend much of my time with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first encounter with Couchsurfing was at Burning Man 2015. There was a massive camp and they put on great events such as a language exchange which I attended and was able to meet some wonderful folks! It was then I knew Couchsurfing was a solid network of like-minded people; a network that aims to unite people and spark friendship and dialogue via hospitality which is a high priority for me as well! As I am living and exploring Europe (and the world) what better way to do so!?
