ABOUT ME
Queer, vegetarian, libertarian... but actually I'm not fond of labels, and prefer not to use them. I believe in freedom in general, I try to do anything with as much love as possible; one of the guide principles of my life is irony, so that I alway try to find the comic (or happy) side of everything and to make everybody feel at ease with me and with life, helping them to "get rid of height" in their attitude towards life, but trying to respect the fact that people might not want my help and, even if I trust my principles, I'm not the Messiah. I know that everybody's got something to teach me (expecially people that apparently seem not to) and I'm looking forward to listening to them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I've been very busy in the last months with work, so I haven't found the time to answer all the CS messages (I'm sorry!), but I really want to catch up with the "mission", i believe that CS is a great way to know the real world, better than billions of books.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I can't imagine how life would be if CS didn't exist.
Interests
Literature, writing, cinema, theatre, music, politics, history, ecology, queer and gender theory, drawing, singing, playing guitar and trying to play instruments I don't know how to play, cooking (it'd be better to say "trying to cook"), imaging the world as I'd like it was, looking for new interests, talking to people, keep silent, sit on the street and observe people's lives (and figure out which histories they're living), look for kitsch stuffs in tourist shops and redact a list with "the furthest frontiers of bad taste", filling in the "my interests" form on web sites, ...

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of oldies in general, meybe because they were not creating in a marketing view. There's just one thing I cannot stand in life, and it is the so-called cultural product created in order to satisfate any kind of taste. I love quality and listen to classical music, go to disco bar if my friends want to, but I can't help starting thinking about very serious things when I'm in there (I mean, very serious: the importance of poetry, for exemple, or the possible coming of a revolution). Or, when I'm in an good mood, I can laugh at all the "stupid" music and have fun with it, dancing as if I was crazy ;)
To sum up, I listen to: italian singers (Gaber, Guccini, De André, Mina, Battiato, Battisti, ...), Joe Zawinul, Bach, Haendel, Vivaldi, Ravel, Manuel de Falla, The Doors, The Queen, Liliana Felipe, Mercedes Sosa, Astor Piazzolla, Adriana Varela, Jobim, and much more.
Favourite books and authors: Luces de Bohemia de Valle-Inclàn, "El tambor de hojalata" ("Die blechtrommel") by Gunther Grass, Camus, Garcìa Lorca, Moravia, Jonesco, Gadda, Pirandello, Unamuno, Boris Vian, Bulgakov, Gogol', Buzzati, Petrarca, Gòngora...
Moovies: Fellini (8 e 1/2), Pasolini (Hawks and sparrows), Pietro Germi, Bertolucci, Monthy Python, Hitchcock, Kusturica, Almodòvar, ... and much more.
