Lately I've been listening to various stuff from Israel, Yemen and Algeria... and to my own surprise I'm also interested in techno! Some highlights: Abdelli, Yemen Blues, Riff Cohen, Lola Marsh, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Totó la Momposina, Radio Tarifa, Marvin Haye, Jordi Savall, Lila Downs, Ella Fitzgerald, The Cure, Edith Piaf, Son de Madera, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Louis Armstrong...

Some of my fav movies are Hiroshima mon amour, Reconstruction, Las Buenas Hierbas, Amèlie, Tideland, Brodeuses, Dogville, Drifting Clouds, Trópico de Cáncer, Blade Runner, MadMax, La Science des Rêves, Bicycle Thieves, Relatos Salvajes... and all films by Finnish director Aki Kaurismäki. I love watching documentaries and am very happy about the new series Blue Planet II.

I'm currently reading poetry by Juan Gelman, Antonio Machado, Rumi, and a book about the Silk Route.
