ABOUT ME

I love people and, although I may be a little bit shy at first, we'll be sharing stories and reading tarot cards before long. I believe my mission on this earth is to learn, which has led me into many adventures, both dangerous and fortuitous. I am always hungry for something new but am currently enjoying family life and am so grateful for the beautiful husband and daughter I have been blessed with.
I really want to bring more community and celebration into my life. To dance, to sing, to eat and laugh with others is my priority and to bring down all the barriers that come between people.

Loving and giving to others, and personal betterment. Trying to keep myself authentic and genuine by loving myself and following my own path rather than what others want me to do (so difficult!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This year I want to do some travelling with my family. My husband and baby are both new to the whole experience and we want to learn more about ourselves and each other whilst on the road, gathering fantastic life changing experiences and good times around the camp fire. I'd also love to have other travellers fill up the house, enlightening us with tales of their adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to all this, but have stayed on many couches. I think it's always important to give something back - after all this is an exchange and I like to cook for a host, do some fortune telling or just generally have a good natter in exchange for a couch.

Interessen

I like swimming in rivers, drinking herbals teas, meditating, world cinema, writing novels, reading Turkish coffee and tarot cards, dancing like a loon, singing in the shower, telling stories to children, I hope to try paragliding and scuba diving in Fethiye this year, kundalini yoga, making paper mache animals and pine-cone people, expanding my mind by reading about reincarnation and nirvana, ska and folk music, cooking new recipes and baking chocolate fudge cakes... the list goes on :)

But the best experience I've ever had was meditating in Greece for 6 weeks. After which I remembered why I am here on this earth and what the point of life is - to share and help others... and to have fun!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you to clap using only one hand - This is the main talent I have, but I can also read your Turkish coffee, or should I say my husband can (I'm learning), I can read your tarot cards, teach you some meditation techniques, we can do yoga together, I can do storytelling with your children, cook you Turkish food or simply join you in a walk around fethiye.
