Hello! My name is Gaia, which means Goddess of the Earth in greek, and I am currently living is the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

Amongst the things that I love, some stand out, like being in contact with the nature ( my grandparents own a country house and I am usually there on the weekends), traveling (oh well, I believe that everyone who is here does!), getting to know new cultures (I am part of a very cool international organization called CISV), walk around town and get to know all the cool things about every city I visit.

Also, I really love to read (I try to read at least two books a month, in a mixture between classics and easy-to-read books) and to write (I keep a journal since I was 11 and it goes with me to everywhere! Its name is Ciça).

Right now I am doing my Masters in Argumentation and Debate and that is why I moved to Holland. I grew up in São Paulo and used to work as a Public Relations there ;)

I believe staying with locals and getting tips from the people in town is the best way to know a city. Also, I believe it is a great way to make new friends and to enhance the trustworhness of the world.

兴趣

Eating is one of my biggest interests! I love to stop in nice cute cafés to drink a good cappuccino and have a nice piece of pie (I have the biggest sweet tooth ever) and in nice bars for a good cocktail. I really like salads also and cheese and brigadeiro! I can do an amazing brigadeiro, I've been told ;).

I just love music, in any way it comes! I love dancing, so I enjoy specially music I can dance to ;)
Two of my favorite movie of all times are: Into the Wild and Butterfly effect.
For books, I enjoy a mix of classic and easy-to-read so: Wuthering Heights and The Princess Diaries are a good example of how I choose books. I really love to read and libraries/bookstores are my second home and where I feel most comfortable.

Getting to know the Concentration Camps and the whole Holocaust story was amazing. Teriffying, but amazing.
