I enjoy being able to help out people with their travels, and at the same time meeting awesome new people on a regular basis.

Music, and lots of it. Cycling, hiking baking, cooking; making things from scratch that you'd normally buy, like butter and lemon curd.
I have dabbled in learning various languages: I often get complimented on my accent, but I struggle with conversations 😭
I'm currently developing a 'productivity' app combined with a game to make boring or difficult stuff easier to do. It's called Progress RPG.

Music: lots of music, classical mostly, but plenty of jazz and Scottish folk as well. I listen to funk for relaxation, and Jacob Collier is one of my favourite artists.

Films: LOTR trilogy, Source Code, Bourne Trilogy, Gianni e le donne, Goodbye Bafana, Ex Machina, The Iron Ministry.

In September 2010 I went on a Vipassana meditation course in Herefordshire. Although I have only been meditating (nearly) daily since the start of 2015, it was a discovery of the tool I needed.

I love talking about music, both as a musician and a teacher, and sharing my playing and singing. I have been singing and playing the piano for at least 20 years.
I am a pretty good baker, and have taught myself some Swedish massage techniques. Let's just say I'm pretty good at kneading ^^)
