One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Whistler BC,Canada in July on my own. I decided to go skiing. I remember sitting outside with a beer and a burger for lunch and looking at the peaks of the mountains around me realizing how beautiful this place was, realizing there are so many beautiful places I would like to see and recognizing I am an incredibly lucky person to be up in the mountains at that moment.
We raise many animals on the farm including horses. I remember spring of 2012 when we had a foal arrive 3 weeks early. It was touch and go for several days and I set up a bed in the stall in the barn to be able to be there if "Wrangler" needed help. The amazing moment was when I realized he was going to make it on day 4. Tears of joy sprang from me in celebration of the efforts put in by so many to save this special baby.
