ABOUT ME
Hmm, tough section...lets see. I came from Moscow to America and kind of did the standard Russian immigrant progression: Brighton Beach (New York), Non-Brighton neighborhood in Brooklyn (New York), moved to New Jersey. In terms of education / career, I also followed a very standard immigrant path: get an education and then a "good, high paying job", then think about what you want to do. Well, now that I have an education, and have suffered at a very "good" banking job for three years, I have put THE PLAN into action.
THE PLAN: Do my own thing, have fun, explore, meet people, try to figure out what to do next.
PHILOSOPHY
Not sure - I havnt really made big decisions in a long time! Especially working at a bank, my philosophy has been limited lately to sleep - work - sleep - drink - work, etc.
I guess the philosophy from now on is to be a good friend, helpful to others, and open to new/different experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Off the top of my head:
Big Lebowski, movies by Wong Kar Wai like 2046, one movie that I have seen recently that I liked was La Heine
Like many peoples, my music changes pretty regularly, but right now im listening to: Sabali by Amadou & Mariam (its very catchy to me, not sure if it will stick), Gone Gone Gone by The Donkeys, Blood Pt 2 by Sufjan Stevens, 15 to 20 by The Phenomenal Handclap Band (this is def temporary), and Flume by Bon Iver
Frankly, I havnt read a book for fun in four years. I would like to blame it on my job, but maybe my brain has been zapped by TV? I dont know - Ill get back to you and update this with the answer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seems silly to confine "amazing" experiences to this text box
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I know (I hope this is not an exhaustive list): I know the anatomy of the banking crisis (was on the front lines - dotn know how many are interested in this knowledge, I can teach Russian (but as a naitive speaker, unfortunatly I cant help with formal rules, etc.)
Things I want to learn: Pretty much anything, but especially anything that has to do with a craft or hands-on activity (carpentry, mechanics, etc.)
