Hi! my name is Galatea, i´m from Argentina and i really enjoy discovering places, peolple, people in places, new music, different ways or means of communication, food, weird dances, hearing stories, sharing almost everything (except toothbrush, towels, you know what i mean). I like to make music and create my own songs, mostly inspired by the moment improvising, or to tell a story or relate what's happening right now by singing it at the same time we´re inventing it, it´s fun. I am also good at painting murals and cooking. I love music but i also enjoy silence very much and reading, and when inspiration comes, i write.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Beacause it´s a very interesting alternative when travelling, to meet local people, hang around with them and get to really know the place, and not only go to the typicall touristic places that don´t show the real local scents and spirit. I think it is very good to be connected someway and recommend between couchsurfers places to visit (or not to) and have fun meanwhile.

i like hearing to different and diverse kinds of music, i like jazz very much, rock, reggae and samba, drums, pianos, bass, but what i enjoy the most is hearing something i´ve never heard, so i am open to any kind of music... after listening to it, i´ll figure if i like it or not, but it´s good to hear new stuff..Viejas locas, intoxicados ,metronomy, parov stelar, little dragon, thee oh sees,rhcp, ty segall, fuzz, hanni el khatib, beats antique, weyes blood, drugdealer, connan mockasin, peter tosh, bob marley, los piojos, king ghizzard and the lizard wizard, thievery corporation, fatboyslim, faauna, femina, seu jorge, sumo, charly garcia. Movies: i like bizarre odd movies suck as: pineapple express, braindead, or hilarious movies, or hitchcock´s, alex de la iglesia, almodovar, robert rodriguez, tarantino.
books: hemingway, el hombre y el mar. Aristoteles: etica a nicomaco, Goethe: Fausto, and authors such as Lefanu, Poe, Lovecraft, Maupassant among others i can´t remember beacause i suck at remembering names in general..
