Hello there! I'm a Portuguese guy who will be traveling from Hong Kong to Portugal by train. I live in China, working as a teacher. I'm a very calm and relaxed person, smiling and appreciative of the human kind. Sometimes I take steps too big for my legs, because I don't believe in leaving through reaction to fear (although I do have them) but most times I'm just creating music on my phone, drawing or learning something new to enrich my points of view about things from scientific to sociological and even to farming as my brain feels very good when working towards understanding something.
I can be fun, I can be philosophical, logical, and I can be a fly on the wall. I'm appreciative enough of your gesture of having me in your place to observe and adapt. I'm very clean and tidy (lived with so many different people and, somehow, I'm the one who always ends up cleaning the house). I also don't usually don't speak so perfectly and mechanically like here and find it boring but, hey, need to give a good impression, right? ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because it really matches my personality. As you can see, I'm on Couchsurfing for a long time and, although i never used it, the idea and concept always fascinated me and seemed worth of appreciation and support. Seems to me like a magical parallel dimension, in a world that tends to be individualistic, having a community of people interested in sharing !

兴趣

My interests are very eclectic: one day a drunk homeless man that was sitting besides me at a bar balcon looked at a painting and made the most remarkable and accurate comment, that I believe no one else could notice and... it enriched my life. It really made me think that if I close doors on what may or may not interest me just by looking at its appearance, I will let slip through my fingers most of surprisingly good things in life. So I keep an open mind.
