Music, Movies, and Books

I like foreign films, independent and "art" films, ones which make me react to it, that are charged with emotion. I don't care much for Hollywood smash-ups.
Music depends on how I'm feeling- whatever is needed to balance me out, so the genres are almost endless. I'm a big fan of Sigur Ros, Bjork, Imogen Heap, Milosh, Iron and Wine, Bob Dylan, Air, The Cure, The Album Leaf. I love to hear and learn more, always. It surrounds me every day, like a personal soundtrack.
I love to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mount Baker. It's here in Washington State, near Canada and not very high, only 10,000 feet or so, but I grew up around it. I saw it everyday and dreamt of climbing it. In August of 2004 my friend and I reached the summit.

I just returned from traveling through Europe for my first time!! Amazing!
