About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Smile

ABOUT ME

Huge supporter of people doing exchanges to other countries. I've done it twice now; once to Argentina and once to France. I love it and love meeting people, especially odd ones that give me good stories for later.

PHILOSOPHY

:) - The smiley face sums it up nicely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and I surf. Depends on where I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Turkey, New York City, and Romania. and hosted in DC.

Interests

Travel (obviously), white water kayaking, rock climbing, camping, Spanish, French, movies, books, attempting to learn how to socialize without being completely awkward. I like to joke around, typically by accepting and embracing the ridiculous.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: whatever I can get my hands on. Anything with Fabio on the cover must be excellent literature and should be taught in schools.

Artsy movies to insipid blockbusters (assuming they have some entertainment/time wasting value). I like French films in particular.

I like too many different things and love suggesting new things for people to listen to based on their tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped onto a moving train while crossing the border from France to Spain and then climbed in through a window while it was doing about 50 miles per hour. I tell the story better and you'll just have to meet me to hear it.

I enjoy getting lost and when trip plans get completely screwed up and I have to figure out alternatives.

Teach, Learn, Share

Toilet paper is worth a hundred times its weight in gold while camping, so always make sure you have more TP than anything else so you can sell it to your fellow campers for their stuff. This is all I learned about Supply and Demand while earning my degree in Global Economics.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, France, Ukraine, United States
