ABOUT ME
I'm Mathies and I live together with my wife, Sara, in Skørping, Denmark. I work at an art museum in Aalborg as digital manager and Sara works at Aalborg University.

We have a little Westie dog, Charlie, a lazy cat, Charlie, and two chickens, Bob and Nina.

We like to travel and meet new people, try new foods, see interesting places, and so on...! We both also really like music, and going to concerts, and we go as often as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing in other Scandinavian countries, the US, and the UK has really brought us many great experiences and introduced us to some cool people! We always end up saying that we never would have experienced the city the same way if we did not couchsurf. Experiencing a new place through the eyes of locals is something everybody should try out, and we do our best to help out people coming to Aalborg.

Interests

Sara: Cooking, reading, TV-shows (Six Feet Under and The Wire are my favourites!), coffee, wine, food, laughing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What a difficult question!

We had several amazing experiences when we were on an eight-week long road trip in the US. We were amazed with both the nature, the cities, but perhaps most of all with the kindness of all the people we met. We couchsurfed many different places, and met so many fantastic people!
