ABOUT ME

I am living in North Vancouver with my husband, 15 year old daughter and our 10 year old labradoodle, Jessy. From July 2011 to August 2012 we travelled RTW. We starting our journey driving across Canada and then flew to South America and then moved on to Australia, South East Asia, India, Africa, Turkey, Italy, Sweden, Spain, France, Wales, England, New York and then home. We LOVED traveling and enjoyed meeting all sorts of people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have now hosted 4 people and they were all great experiences!! We haven't stayed anywhere yet. When we were traveling, we moved locations so often that we tended to plan our next destination too last minute to organize a couch surfing stay. I had one set up in Thailand but it fell through when something came up for the woman we were going to stay with. We didn't try after that.

Interests

Hiking, standup paddle boarding, photography (in a very amateur way!), reading, watching live theatre, education, laughing! 14 year old LOVES horses!

Music, Movies, and Books

Paul can name most movies, actors from a useless description, usually given to him by Heather, who can never remember. "Paul, who was that actor who played the guy who met some girl in Europe somewhere?". "Before Sunrise or After Sunset - Ethan Hawke". "yah, that's it! Anyways, who,...." and on it goes.

Enjoy a wide variety of music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't think of just one... Climbed Mt. Fuji. Swam with sea lions in the Galapagos islands, hiked the Inca Trail, hiked part of the West Coast Trail. Well, maybe there is just one, and the most important of all, working on raising an amazing daughter!
