About Me

I'm 22, open to meeting new people. I'm currently based in St. Louis but I love to travel, so my backpack is my best friend. I'm incredibly open minded, and a methodical neat freak. I'm easy going, laid back, and try not to take life too seriously. I have this habit when I see someone carrying too many things (or just a heavy load) where I instantly ask if they need assistance even if I'm doing something or am running late myself.

I pour wine and educate people about the intricacies of the vine. I'm studying to be a sommelier one day. I graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio,Texas in the spring of 2015 with a double in Marketing and Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a recent college grad and I am short on the much needed dinero, so staying at the Four Seasons is out of the question. Also I figure this would be a great way to meet new people. I hope that I could return the favor if they ever happened to visit St. Louis! I know the city like the back of my hand and would love to show you some of the highlights, and little known secrets of the Lou.

Interests

I love to write, read, hike, bike, and run. I am a cinephile, oneophile, and cunning linguist. I studied Marketing and Spanish. I have run four half marathons and am training for my first full.

I like beaches, mountains, and city life. I'm big on camping and canoe trips, and love urban exploration.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Bond films, as well as the classics, Casa Blanca, On The Waterfront, and The Graduate are my favorites.

I like chill hip hop, new country, classical, and techno beats.

I love anything from John Green to Tom Clancy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked 14 miles to and from Dudhsagar Falls in Goa, India during Monsoon rains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach wine, I'd love to learn more about gourmet cuisine creation, and I'd love to share stories and bottles of wine!

If I'm hosting, I have a spare guest bedroom. It's a fully made room with a dresser, bed, and nightstand. I just have to clear it with my parents, but we're always down to meet new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A wealth of knowledge about wine, my experiences, contact information for St. Louis happenings gourmet food and drink.

I can share a passion for travel, and the fact I'm super clean.
