About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living the Lean Startup 4-Hr Workweek in Austin

ABOUT ME

Austinite, originally a SF-born and bred rockstar, hippie, aspiring sntrepreneur urban cityboy lol =)I just returned from a 2-month Europe backpacking exploration and the experience has got me wanting to travel MORE.

Living the Bootstrap and Lean Start-Up life in Austin, Texas now.

I once traveled to the Virgin Islands, when I left they were just "The Islands".

The islands and beaches of Thailand are next on my list. Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phan Ghan, Chiang Mai. That and I want to explore second-tier cities in China more deeply. I am trying to learn Chinese Mandarin.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would want them to do to you.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Beach, Kill Bill, Vagabonding by Rolf Potts, The 4-Hour Workweek, The Alchemist, City of God, Closer, What every American should know about Europe lol, The $100 Startup

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing to me is not worrying about 9-5 cubicle-working all the time and taking 2 months off to backpack Europe. Now I know that isn't a ton of time off for most people here on CouchSurfing.com, but it was definitely a new challenge for me leaving the security of work. I am hearing people who have been on the road for 1 year, 2 years+, 3 years+, even 5+ years crazeeeeee!

Teach, Learn, Share

People who have travelled all over and are open to meeting all types of people.

It is so refreshing how open-minded international travelers. I enjoy learning about all their overseas experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
