We are a married couple. We are now in Glasgow , Scotland, and will be here for a while , then, we will go back to Gambia. So for now, we can not host in Gambia. . Looking to meet follow travellers and make new friends in Glasgow..

I am on couchsurfing a while now. Jana joined about 4 years ago
I Lived and studied in the UK, South Africa and Gambia.
Jana also lived in Lebanon, Zambia, Gambia .Guinea
Travel 2 moths a year :-)
We spend a lot of time on the water when in Gambia.
We love meeting people, and chatting and finding out new things about new places.

We make it a mission to go to at least 2 new countries every year, so no wonder I have visited almost 52 countries ;-)

We have always been hosts, unlikely to be a guest, but you never know, we travel at the drop of a hat, and never make plans ?

On Ali last trip . I decided to travel late July for 2 months, so I took a plane to Madrid and just started going around Europe. I was on the road till 5 Oct when I had to catch a plane from London back to work.
Now we are a couple , we do everything together.

Gambia is a great place to live and visit , but it's only busy from Oct till May, then it gets very quite, hence we have a long free period every year.

If you ever decide to visit Gambia / or Lebanon, give us a nudge, if we are there, we will help in every way we can

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many surfers since I became active, and so far all have been great experiances, I always honor my comitments, even if I decide to travel, if I agreed to host you before I made my travel plans, I will still arrange for someone to be your host in my house.

Have had 3 surfers that were coming then I had to go to hungary, and uk when they were due, but both times, I had a friend look after my house and meet the surfers, and host them in my house.

I used to own a cocktail bar in a hotel, and meet many people there, and some of them when they return to Gambia , have stayed with me instead of paying for the hotel , so made some friends there too.
