About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving money for future vacations.

ABOUT ME

I am nice and friendly, smart and a bit cynical.
I like to meet people. listen to music, discuss things and learn stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Wovon man nicht sprechen kann, darüber muss man schweigen.
(of that which one cannot speak, one must be silent.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host on some weekends, and maybe some wednesdays + thursdays. Can't do mondays or tuesdays, sorry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent wonderful evenings with friendly couchsurfers in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. I stayed with a very friendly man in Prague, where I also met a nice Israeli couple, and a few guys have also stayed in my apartment, which was also very nice, so, yeah...

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh almost all of them. I'm a skeptic and fan of science so i study that a lot.

I mostly listen to skeptical or science podcasts and read books about religion, skepticism, atheism and so on but I also read the classics, some humour, poetry (sometimes I write), and sometimes one or two fantasy / sci-fi-books (currently Game Of Thrones).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving in with a bus full of clothing and stuff for kids in need, in a mud-village in the winter in the Ukraine! The happy faces on those kids, that was amazing.

Walk among the graves of some of the most prestigous people of Judaism in the burial mounds on the slopes of Jerusalem. Visiting the holocaust museum there also. Sad, but amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

*Comparative religion, including: Anthropology, sociology, psychology and history of religion.
*Books, movies, Scandinavian culture, viking living and history (I work for free in one the worlds largest viking villages, also a museum)
*Swedish!
*And I love singing and playing the guitar, though I suck at both.
