Overview
About Me
The one liner: Laid-back, travel enthusiast, student, consultant and relaxed guy!
The nitty gritty: I am a student at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada pursuing a dual degree in Commerce and Computer Science and am in my third year of studies. I am interning this summer at Monitor Deloitte as a consultant in their Toronto office.
I am a travel enthusiast who spent the last summer interning in Singapore at a firm called Golden Gate Ventures, a local venture capital firm. After my internship I traveled across Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and India.
I am a pretty laid back guy and enjoy everything from a good conversation over a cup of coffee to a fun night out!
I was born and raised in Canada but am half Indian and half German. My family from Germany is living mainly in Munich and in Amberg, a small town in Bavaria. I am also currently learning German - although I still have a long way to go!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After traveling in Asia I realized that one of the best parts of traveling is meeting new people - especially locals!
I am hoping to use couch surfing as a way of meeting new people, learning about the culture and a way to have a lot of fun!
Interests
I love to go hiking and have had a chance to hike along the east coast of Canada this summer in Nova Scotia, the west coast in British Columbia this past Christmas and to hike a volcano called Mount Agung in Indonesia this past summer!
I am also an enthusiast of most sports including volleyball, hockey and soccer. I also enjoy cooking in my spare time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a volcano in Indonesia this summer called Mount Agung! Climbed it during the night and reached the summit by 5am for sunrise!
