Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and want to practice my language skills. Yes, I am polyglot wanna be. It's a must to travel a lot, because life is too beautiful just to spend your time in front of television and eat fried chicken.

Intereses

So far, I have learned about 9 languages includes Indonesian, my mothertongue. As a muslim, I must learn arabic as the language of Holy Qur'an, for some time. Then my mom sent me to an english course when I was 8 and it costed $2/month (in 2000), will you believe it? 😅 But that's the fact! It was like home-course, but worth it. I even still remember some stories that I used to tell in front of the class before going home. In senior high school, I learned 3 languages (beside english), one language per year. They were arabic, mandarin and japanese. What a lucky! Since other schools don't do the same program. Continued my study to a hospitality college, I learned japanese, english and french language! French was the most difficult one but it attracted me. The more it gets harder, the more I love it. For all those languages above, french makes me want to learn more, so I tried to learn by myself until now, together with spanish. But recently I'm only focusing on my french and spanish. I guess.

Had a great internship in Penang, Malaysia made me more familiar with Malay-Chinese-Indian accent and their slang. And Malay is 90% similar to Indonesian (hmm I guess so). In 2014 I worked in Turkey, the situation was so tough and forced me to learn Turkish. Working with multinational people, grew my curiosity in their cultures and languages. Since most of the staffs speak russian (most of the guests were russian), I become familiar with it and learn some of it by application.

I like drawing even I'm not good enough at it. I prefer do my art assignment to math 😝. I almost went to Art college when in other hand my mom refused it! I also love to decorate something and put some ideas for it. Just like handcraft.

FOOD. Please kidnap me!!! Can't say no to food. My favorite food is fried chicken. Then noodle. Then pasta. Then quesadilla. Then chocolate. Then...... You see? I'm crazy about it. Wisata kuliner? Aku mauuu 😍

I have rode bicycle since I was 3. I used to ride it hands-up and acted like I was the coolest person in the world..

Hiking. Who doesn't want to breathe the cool air, smell the rain and see the sunrise?

Música, películas y libros

Reggae is the most perfect genre which brings me to a relax condition, furthermore if I listen to reggae songs while laying down on a beach and watching the sky at night. Next I love jazz, beatbox, blues or even metal.
I like horor, comedy, action, fiction.. My favorites are scary movie, harold & kumar, any jackie chan's movie, the raid, laskar pelangi, warkop DKI, too many that I can't remember one by one.
The only one that attracts me so much, goosebumps.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to Karimun Jawa and for the first time I could remove my phobia with a huge volume of water, I swam deeper inside the beach just to take pictures with the gorgeous fish there. It took much effort, all I thought about was I'm gonna sink that time. It's not about I can't swim, I just have problem with my breath, and that fear becomes bigger everytime I saw beach and something like that. I realized it left special mark in my heart and makes me addicted.

I can teach you both Indonesian formal and slang, some local dances and languages; and you may teach me your traditional dance as well, or even the song; I can share my nasi goreng which is lovely but unavailable at any other restaurants!
