About Me

CURRENT MISSION

find some roots

ABOUT ME

In Brief: After growing up near Portland, OR, I went to Boston for school and stayed for 9 years. I've been spending time pursuing music, food, wine, spirituality, yoga, the outdoors and of course: good friends...I then wanderlusted until ending up in sunny Santa Barbara, with the hopes of winning over a beautiful lady! Success was in the cards and we were fortunate to meet many beautiful people and discover more of the west-coast festival culture. Now we've just moved back to the Portland, OR area where I will be starting a MA program in Acupuncture and OM. I love people. I love to share life with others in this simple yet amazingly complex existence we have together.

PHILOSOPHY

workin' on it...but not too hard ;P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was kidnapped by some CS'ers in downtown Boston, so I converted at knife point, well maybe beer pint point, and am now living out my wildest dreams~

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been able to host a few times, thrown parties (including the fab T-day '09 with 40 people in my apartment!) meet TONS of CS'ers from other places through groups, meetings, pub crawls and the like. Surfed my way across America (and Hawai'i) for 2 months, and now am now secretly plotting to gather more vouches....

Interests

Enjoying life.....yes yes.....that's good.

Ok. I love meeting new people, and i love chilling with old friends. I am always happy to explore urban or natural settings. Hot tea on a rainy day as well as martini's in the summer. Wine. Red wine. talking with people and sharing stories. Traaaaaveling and seeing so much more of the world than I have. Snowboarding. Long gorgeous hair. Cooking things! Learning how much wine is based on geography. tattoos/piercings. touch. Electronic music dance parties. laughing! yoga, biking. all things green. Old cars. thinking about what we eat. chivalry. God. Transcendental states of being and music. Freedom. Being. Children. pushing my (and others) limits and comfort zones. living and loving.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The rediculous amount of "coincidences" I've enjoyed through CS....the world has gotten so much bigger and so much smaller at the same time!
