About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building a happy family,
creating businesses with great social impact along the way,
sharing music with friends and strangers,
and being surfed out most days of my life.
ABOUT ME
I'm an enthusiast entrepreneur. Ever since I left school, I either travelled to find opportunities and meet fellow dreamers, or settled down to launch businesses with strong impacts. I've done that in Shanghai, Paris and Sydney. I raised few $M for my most recent project addressing the lack of food delivery services in Australia.
I met my wife before leaving for the southern hemisphere. We discovered Australia together and we've been best mates since then. We got married in Tahiti, her island, in August 2017. Polynesian way of life and her family values are part of the culture I want to share with my children, if we succeed in having any.
Born in Paris, I wasn't meant to surf. But every time I met with the ocean, I felt the release and the call of the waves. Until the day of my first ride in Biarritz. It was a big reason for me to move to Sydney. I'm surfing about every day now, and this connection teaches me so much about listening to the world, myself and others.
And this wouldn't be complete without mentioning music. While I will never be a talented musician, I've never stopped playing some trumpet and ukulele, as long as it helps me connect with people and warm up some nights. While I learnt piano for years as a child, I only started understanding the power of music when I joined a brass band, basking and drinking with friends and strangers.
PHILOSOPHY
"You're never really done for, as long as you've got a good story and someone to tell it to."
A. Barrico
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started participating in the couchsurfing community by hosting strangers in Paris and Lyon. They were not all registered couchsurfers, and we sometimes met playing music in the street.
Then I left for the southern hemisphere, and enjoyed being hosted, and meeting amazing people from different cultures.
Couchsurfing is the safest way to get out of your routine and be exposed to people not belonging to your crowd. The best way to grow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That day I slept in a Buddhist monastery in China. Awaken by the monk at 5 am and going for the summit by night ...
That eternal minutes when I was sailing to enter Groix harbour during a storm. I remember people cheering when we sailed in.
A social entrepreneur speaking to me in a corridor to explain that he has never been employed, which enabled him to be fully effective at helping others. This guy built up my vocation that day. Thank you
