ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Grace, my Chinese name is Gao I-An , I grew up in Taiwan, a little island in the southeast coastline of Mainland. I am Atalyan, one of the 14 indigenous people tribes in Taiwan.
I am writing my Master's thesis in the University of Helsinki at the moment. I've been traveling and CSing quiet a bit around Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't go on the path of least resistance, don't care too much about how people look at you. Have the courage to follow your heart, because deep in your heart you've known the answer to your questions, you just need a right chance to express it out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read about CS in magazines and newspapers, it's really interesting and inspiring for me. And I think in an era of globalization, having CS is just a brilliant idea! It puts all things together in a really creative way. I really appreciate it, thought I've never been in anybody's couch yet.
Btw, if anybody would like to go to Taipei for a visit, just feel free to be my guest!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined cs in 2008, and I hosted a charming girl from South Korea called Haelee in June. That was really an enjoyable experience, and a wonderful start of cs exploration. Now I am heading for Finland as an exchange student. I think it's a great chance for me to know the deeper essence of cs. Everyday is a new beginning and opportunity.

Interests

I like knowing new people, watching movies, updating my blog, reading, swimming and hiking. Also, I've played handball for two years, I love it but I didn't play it really well ;D
