About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn all that I can, see the world, and continue to be young at heart.
ABOUT ME
Hello : ) I am young woman figuring out my place in this lovely world. I love to laugh and smile, dance and sing, and most of all meet new people, learn different lifestyles, and experience new places.
I'm currently taking a break from career world. Last year I did some au pairing in Reims, France and Vienna, Austria. I moved back to USA and lived in Philly for 8 months, just doing some work and saving money. I am now doing an MSc in Global Mental Health in London!
I have 7 brothers and sisters, one being my twin : )
I love animals, I prefer cats.
PHILOSOPHY
Run down your dreams as best as you can. Always remember that you will learn new things from whomever you meet, and the more you know, the more knowledge and learning there is to gain in the future.
Keep your feet tappin' and your self laughin' (Yeah...I said it)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'be surfed a few times, been to some great meet-ups in NYC, and hosted twice. So...somewhat a novice. Currently, I have a teeny tiny bedroom (hostel style) in London while I go to school, it's not very suitable or comfortable for others to stay, though I am learning lots in London and I am very happy to meet up and share a cup of coffe, meal, or drink if you visit here :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in Chicago, NYC, Helsinki, Prague, London and Stockholm. I've hosted at my old apartment in NYC.
Each time was something new and different, and I have always enjoyed my company and I have been told the same. It's great to make new friends and learn different cultures this way. One of my favorite times was meet up in NYC of all couch surfer members. We just had a blast and it really made me appreciate the community here.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to watch movies. I really like psychological thrillers, comedies, dramas, and ganagster movies like Billy Brasco and Goodfellas. Music- I love most every type of music minus heavy metal rock. I also don't enjoy all types of country but I have learned to appreciate where the artists' thoughts come from. My favorite is between classic rock and dance. I really enjoy reading, mostly novels, short stories, and essays. Current authors I'm reading: Dave Eggers and James Joyce. Usually I turn to George Saunders, David Sedaris, and some russian writers (mostly Vladimir Nabokov, some could argue he's one of the easier to comprehend :))
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have walked on hot coals just to say I walked on coals. Stupid or amazing? You decide.
Teach, Learn, Share
I tend to be asked a lot of advice when it comes to relationships or just needing someone to share with. I am also great at writing papers and love to help others with this.
I have been a nanny as well as involved in the insurance biz (unfortunately) and can offer some advice in those . And, as mentioned before I worked in developmental neuroscience for the last 3 years so...if interested in psychology....
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughs. Story telling. Opinions?
I'm not a great cook, but it's only because I don't practice. So really I can cook, I just don't and because of it I may get nervous to have someone try my food.
I love adventure and also just to straight up chill. So, both?
