About Me

I am a 23 year-old English teacher with a passion for travelling (probably as anyone else in this site). I love meeting new people and exchanging opinions and different perspectives of the world. I like to make my holidays significant by volunteering in an interesting project, so I always try and go to volunteer camps and so on, but when I can't do that I like to find some place where I can meet new people and learn from them. For example I have worked in a hostel and I have worked as a group leader for english students abroad. I have lived abroad in two different countries (Cyprus and Ireland) and I absolutely loved both experiences. Now I am preparing for my third year abroad, this time in Germany. Can't wait!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard very positive comments from this experience and met couchsurfers that were very glad they joined this community. I would like to be part of this because nothing makes a stay better than to leave having met special people. I hope to be able to provide my own place for other people to stay in the near future, but for the moment all I can offer is my company :) I'm not fussy about anything and all I expect is respect and a good vibe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like indie, rock and mainstream music (not to fussy about it haha). If I had to pick a favourite band I'd go with the Artic Monkeys, but do not expect me to know much about them hahaha

I usually avoid horror movies, and I like Tarantino, Amenabar, Almodovar and Alex de la Iglesia among others. I just recently saw The Source and LOVED IT.

Huge fan of Game of Thrones.

Sidharta by Herman Hesse, Der Vorleser by Bernhard Schlink, and El Mundo Amarillo by Albert Espinosa, again, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Morocco for a moth as an English teacher in an empoverished region. It was amazing, truly beautiful experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture and help them learn my mother tongue (Spanish and Basque). If they are into belly dancing I can show them the basics too :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
