About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To know me through others.

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty laid back person. I like to meet almost everyone and am willing to try almost anything at least once, even if it is just to know that I don't like it. I constantly seek harmony and peace, even when my urban anxiety tries to take me elsewhere. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Experiment, learn, love, help, and only fear regret.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because life would be boring without it...

Interests

Photography, film, guitar, music, life, different points of view and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ever changing taste... but these are some movies, music and books i´ve been digging recently.

The Fountain, Persona, Stalker, Songs from the Second Floor, Alphaville, Mallrats, "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring"...

Ishmael, The Alchemist, Freeplay, Tao Te Ching, Camera Lucida.

Music is hard to say... I am always searching... but, Bossa nova seems to be a constant. Toquinho and Jobim are great! Great guitar artists like George Harrison, Devendra Banhart, and even John Mayer. I have also been getting into some blues lately. But I also still listen to stuff like the Shins.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

umm... I saw an "Arrastao" in Rio de Janeiro...watched the "saqueos" in Argentina 2001...saw the twin towers fall... was in a subway derailment... the sun rising over the Grand Canyon, setting in Paquetá, Brazil. I saw it over El Bolsón, coming down behind the Andes. Monasteries in Tibet, bodies aflame floating down the Ganges. The Australian desert and beautiful Assie beaches. All those things... and hopefully, many more.
