ABOUT ME

This update is long overdue. I am currently weeding through a PhD program in Geography at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Though I've lived in NC for over 4 years I am now in Detroit doing research for my dissertation. If you plan on traveling to Durham/Chapel Hill I can likely suggest some places/people to kick it with.

Anywho, I have not CS'd in a while, but look forward to making more friends and indenting more couches via the site. If you are traveling to Detroit, drop me a line.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Openly and communally. In the past, I've only crashed on couches. I hope to return the favor in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couchsurf'd in Albuquerque (ABQ to the locals) back in 2008. Each of my three CSing experiences were memorable in a good kind of way. i When I decided to move from ABQ to Louisville, I CS'd in Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN. Those experiences were both chill and hyper. To this day I haven't had a bad CS experience. Knock on wood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to El Mina in Ghana to see and experience the slave dungeons along the Atlantic coast. Joined a gathering of chiefs and was made an honorary member of an African village. So many amazing things to choose from, but I'll leave it with, played with Rodney Crowell at an Ice House in Houston when I was just a punk kid who had no knowledge of why anyone cared who this guy was...oh yeah, I saw Rick Ross in the airport flanked by equally rotund men, neither of which were as blinged out as he...
